Changan Automobile's Southeast Asia Launch Event Marks a New Beginning in Bangkok

During the event, Changan Automobile's Chairman, Zhu Huarong, delivered his entire speech in English, sharing the company's determination and path towards globalization. He stated, "Thailand's automotive industry chain is well-developed and is transitioning towards electrification, aligning closely with Changan's strategy for new energy development." The Southeast Asia launch marks a concrete step in translating Changan's "Embrace the World" strategic blueprint into action, signifying the company's accelerated development in the Southeast Asian market.
After more than three years of careful preparation and surveying over 10,000 Thai consumers, Changan Automobile established its Southeast Asia Business Unit. Simultaneously, three local companies—Changan Automobile Southeast Asia, Changan Thailand Sales, and Changan Thailand Components—were set up along with a localized operating team. The construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Thailand has also commenced. Through localized operations, Changan aims to rapidly integrate into the Thai market, achieving a comprehensive overseas expansion from brand establishment to research, production, supply, sales, and service.
At the conference, two new energy products, DEEPAL L07 and DEEPAL S07, made a stunning debut, with both models officially launching at the Thailand Auto Expo on the 29th. Additionally, Avita showcased its flagship models, Avita 11 and Avita 12, for the first time in Thailand, presenting a lineup of impressive new vehicles on the international stage.
Changan Automobile's Vice President, Mr. Klaus Ziqiolla, shared insights into the design charm of these two new energy products, stating, "The fundamental reason for the leap in Changan's new energy vehicle design lies in innovation in materials, technology, and design philosophy."
