Positioned as a pure electric mid-size sedan, the Seal 06 EV has already opened for pre-sales. According to official information, its highest CLTC range reaches 545 km.
The BYD Seal 06 EV offers multiple color options to cater to different consumer preferences. Compared to the Seal 06 DM plug-in hybrid model, the pure electric version features a different front bumper, while the rest of the design remains consistent. The pure electric variant adopts a closed-off grille, contrasting with the plug-in hybrid's chrome strip grille. Wheel designs differ depending on the trim level, with tire sizes being 225/55 R17 and 225/50 R18. Dimensions are 4720 mm long, 1880 mm wide, and 1495 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2820 mm.
The interior maintains the marine-inspired design language characteristic of BYD's Ocean series, presenting a youthful and stylish aesthetic. The dashboard incorporates piano black trim. The gear selector uses a column-mounted stalk design (steering wheel stalk). The center console area below includes a wireless charging panel and cup holders. The second-row seats support split-folding (60/40 or similar ratio).
The BYD Seal 06 EV is equipped with a single electric motor. It comes in two power outputs: a lower-power version with 110 kW (150 hp) and a higher-power version with 160 kW (218 hp). Battery capacities are 46.08 kWh and 56.64 kWh, providing CLTC ranges of 470 km and 545 km respectively.
