The GWM TANK 300 HEV was tested and assessed for its ability to physically protect occupants and other road users in a crash through the suite of destructive crash tests and its ability to prevent or minimize the severity of a crash with another vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist – through the range of active collision avoidance performance tests.
Showcasing bold exterior design backed with world-class 4WD technology, a luxurious interior and advanced technology, the GWM TANK 300 is poised to become a strong option for those looking to explore various roads, tracks and beyond.
“Normally, perceptions for such boxy 4x4s are more focused on the terrain performance. However, GWM TANK 300 is able to offer both performance and safety at the same time thanks to great engineering efforts put into the structure and tech level of this beast.” said Parker Shi, Vice President of GWM.
“GWM TANK 300 is launched with hybrid model to show the commitment of GWM’s electrification strategy rollout is solid.” Parker added.
Built on GWM’s global off-road platform, the GWM TANK 300 has been designed to perform in all conditions. Generous ground clearance of 224mm matched to a 33° approach angle and 34° departure angle, combined with proven 4WD technology facilitate challenging off-road adventures.
The brand new GWM TANK 300 is now on sale in global regions in Middle East, China, Australia and other key markets, and expect to be launched in other regions in the following months, offering buyers unbeatable levels of toughness, sophistication and top level safety.
