Recently, Great Wall Motors (GWM) successfully held its 2023 Overseas Investors Collaborative Summit in Baoding. The theme of the conference was "GO LONG. GO WITH THE WORLD" – embracing globalization with a long-term view. Over the course of the three-day event, GWM showcased its comprehensive overseas industrial chain layout and redefined the new standards for successful overseas expansion of Chinese automobile brands. The company received high recognition from over 300 overseas dealers and investors from 32 countries.

We believe that the success of an enterprise is not merely about seizing the dividends of the era, but rather achieving long-term victories," said Mu Feng, President of GWM, during the conference.

Shi Qingke, Vice President and Head of Overseas Business at GWM, provided a detailed explanation of GWM's long-termism strategy. In his view, GWM's long-termism means "persisting in long-term positive efforts". This philosophy derives from GWM's corporate culture of "making progress every day". Since the establishment of its overseas business, GWM has adhered to a long-termist approach, transitioning from "exporting goods" to "trading overseas", and now focusing on "ecological expansion".

During the conference, GWM also launched its global service brand, GWM CARE. Through GWM CARE, the company is confident in providing reliable high-quality services to users worldwide, guaranteeing the entire ownership cycle.

Nowadays, the importance of overseas business in GWM's overall operations is becoming increasingly prominent. Data shows that from January to September this year, GWM's cumulative overseas sales reached 211,696 units, with a year-on-year growth rate of 89.45%. In terms of market share, GWM's overseas sales accounted for 23.63%, 24.04%, and 25.45% of its total sales in the first, second, and third quarters of this year, respectively.

Overseas, GWM has not only established a complete sales network but also actively participated in local community building and integrated into local cultures. This localized operating strategy ensures the continuous growth of its overseas performance. It is worth noting that GWM has already established a "Seven Countries, Ten Grounds" global technology research and innovation system, formed a "12+5" global production layout, and has more than 700 marketing networks spread across over 170 countries and regions.

"Our long-termism investment strategy goes beyond selling high-quality products. For example, in Europe, we have already started planning and layout for real estate sales, and we are also evaluating site selection for our R&D center. Furthermore, to establish ourselves locally as a more native brand, we fearlessly participated and actively prepared materials in response to the recent EU anti-subsidy investigation, being the first to submit the materials," said Shi Qingke.

During the conference, GWM also showcased its strong system strength through the layout of the entire industrial chain to numerous overseas investors.
